Latest Project...

I borrowed the idea from an article in Real Living magazine.
I picked the frame up from a place selling old windows and doors just near Winchelsea.

With a fair bit of sanding and cleaning it became...

I want to fill all the frames but Im waiting to get just the right pictures. I'll update you guys again when its complete.

In other news, this weeks "This is" theme (from one red robin) is proving to be a challenge. Ive never posted a pic of myself before and Im not really sure if Im up to it. Lets see what the next few days brings.

Also the first Brown Owl meeting is not far away... only 3 more sleeps.
Cheers

Hiya,
Thanks for your comment on the cushions. I don't actually know of any easy patchwork patterns on the net. I just cut out some 4 x 4 inch squares with my rotary cutter, arranged them in rows, then got sewing. I added the creamy beige fabric to make the cover the right size for my cushion insert. I am in love with your new/old photo frame. What a fantastic idea....so clever!!!

Wow, I love that window idea. I subscribe to real living and I didn't see that in the mag. I'd better go back and check it out. I'm going to Brown Owls Monday night too.

That's such a great idea, it looks great!
It took me a long time to post my picture as well, it's not an easy thing to do and I'm not sure why because it's easy to write personal thoughts and details. But it felt good posting it I thought and so now I don't feel so hidden!

I'm with you about the self pic. I don't mind putting photos of the kids or the cat (husband refuses to be shown) on the blog - but as for myself ....... hmmm not sure yet.
