Also, Cam suggested a great idea for storage in my new sewing desk.
Shoe box lids, to fit in the slide out tray. Well I didnt have any shoe lids spare but found these gorgeous cardboard boxes for around $3 each at Big W.
Anyway I doctored the first one up a bit cause I thought the lid was not overly practical.
I've got fabric scraps in the second one & nothing in the third as yet. I think I'll leave the other two with lids for now and see how mad it drives me. Thats a sneak peak of Megs quilt in progress in the bottom right hand corner.
We're off on a family trip to Barongarook this afternoon. Enjoy the long weekend everyone.

Your new labels look great and I love how you've organised the lids-looks like a lovely place to sew and create:)
Sewing area looks fabulous. I am digging the labels too. I have been thinking about some for myself and really need to make it happen. They look great.
I can't believe you and Curlypops posted the same titled post on the same day either. That is a cool kind of synergy.
I love those new labels - 'Handmade by' is a great idea because it really emphasises that it's a one off handmade piece. I'll be keeping that in mind for the next lot!
I love the boxes you found for your pull out shelf....much nicer than my shoe box lids (te he he). I might just have to go shopping now.
