Craft storage....
I think Ive posted this before but, there are often new additions. The big white bins and draws are both from Ikea and are fantastic. I can see myself traipsing all the way back to Richmond to pick up more. Im still grieving the loss of their Moorabin store - can you tell?
Custom made computer desk...
I tell you Im in love with this new machine. Its actually got 2 USB ports in the front and wireless technology. Who would of thought????? He's very clever that husband of mine. I think the new desk fits perfectly in the new space and has allowed me to use the old computer table for .......
My sewing/craft desk
Dont you just love how the sewing machine slots in to the tower space? Thats Zoes quilt almost done up the top left (hopefully to be completed by the end of next week). I just love my little hat box down there on the floor. Its full of all sorts of fabric scrappy lovliness. There is also some other gorgeous fabric (up there on the desk) for a gift for someone special ....but more about that much later.
And finally no girls room is complete (unfortunately) without the exercise zone.
Ive been doing alot of running lately (as part of this caper) and have really been getting sore knees. So time to drag the cross trainer out of the garage and get some serious k's in. Of course Im bored out of my brain on it, so I motivate myself (with the little tv up there) with back episodes of Oprah, Biggest Loser and any other trashy stuff I can get my hands on.

Welcome back. I'm so jealous of your new room....it looks like craft heaven.....and the storage is divine! Just think how much more fabric you can buy now.
So glad you're back. And that craft room looks gorgeous...you're a lucky girl!!! Can't wait to see your little girl's finished quilt.
What a lovely well organised room! It must be a pleasure to work in.
I forgot to add in my last comment, my sewing desk is very similar to yours (an old computer desk) and it has a slide out keyboard tray. The tray is great for your bobbin containers and other bits and pieces that you need on hand when you're sewing. I just put some shoe box lids upside down on the tray first to contain everything while I slide it in and out.
Welcome back... I LOVE your new revamped craft space, it looks fantastic... I think I might have to get me some of those shelves for my new craft room..

I have a big case of studio envy looking at your lovely work room. My sewing room doubles as the guest room and with my in-laws arriving in a couple of days needs a massive cleanup so they will be able to see the bed! I guess i can't complain as it is my space for the other 50 weeks of the year....
wow! i need an exercise zone. pronto.
um no sorry where is the mess!!!!!!! it looks too clean ...yet!
I'm getting a cross trainer after my bubs are here to work my butt off while they nap...or I hope I will

Welcome back. Your room looks fabulous. I love that Ikea shelf. I have been wondering about getting one of those to maximise the space in my little room.
Good on you for stopping smoking. I was a smoker for 20 or so years and on 20-25 a day at the end. I thought I was never going to beat the things. Now I am 15 months smoke free and would never go back. If you ever need a pep talk just let me know.

I hate the Upstairs/Downstairs and schleping over to Richmond ... if only IKEA wasn't so damn attractive to me .. arghhh ! :)
